Stormy weather and potentially heavy rainfall are predicted to hit Atlanta metro area this week according to The Weather Channel.  The upcoming week is set to be dominated by wet weather, with thunderstorms and rain showers expected nearly every day. Residents should prepare for a consistently damp week ahead, starting with a high likelihood of storms today.

Today will see a 60% chance of thunderstorms with highs of 83°F and lows of 72°F. Tomorrow continues with an 80% chance of storms, highs of 84°F, and lows of 73°F. Wednesday maintains an 80% storm chance, highs of 85°F, and lows of 73°F. Thursday brings an 80% chance of storms, with temperatures reaching 82°F during the day and 73°F at night. Friday shows a 70% chance of storms with highs of 87°F and lows of 74°F.  Saturday rounds out the week with a 50% chance of storms and highs of 88°F, while evening temperatures will be around 74°F.

Throughout the week, residents should keep their umbrellas handy and be prepared for the possibility of sudden downpours and thunderstorms. The constant rain will likely bring cooler temperatures, offering some relief from the summer heat, but also ensuring a persistently wet environment.
