Election Day is here and voters across Metro Atlanta are headed to the polls to cast their ballots. Ensuring you know where to vote and the expected wait times can make the process smoother. Here’s a quick guide to help you find your polling location and avoid lengthy delays.

Finding Your Polling Location

To determine where you’re registered to vote, check the Georgia My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov. Simply enter your details, and the site will provide you with your designated polling location. Remember, you can only vote at your assigned polling place on Election Day, so it’s essential to verify ahead of time.

Checking Wait Times

For those voting in Metro Atlanta, knowing the wait times at various locations can help you plan better. Counties like Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Gwinnett, and Fulton have implemented tools to give real-time updates on voting lines. Checking these wait times can save you from long queues, allowing you to choose a less crowded time or location if your schedule allows.

Remember, you have to be in line no later than 7:00 p.m. in order to vote. As long as you are in line by the time the polls close, you will be allowed to vote.
